Mirena and break outs?

Anyone know about Mirena IUD and potential skin concerns? A friend of mine ( in her mid 40s) has it and has been breaking out since. She said her doc said it may be possible since a small amt of hormones are still being put into her system (just more localized). Apparently break outs aren't supposed to be bad, but I'm certainly not going to do something that even risks it. There are other concerns as well, but since skin condition is a worry for me, that's my focus on here. Anyone have experience w/it?
