I've been using Purity cleanser and Purity moisturizer for YEARS and have absolutely no skin problems.  (I'm 75.)

I only use makeup if somebody (besides my husband) is going to see me.  Plus, I've been using Westmore 60 second eye effects tinted firming gel under my eyes (before any makeup)... again, only if someone is going to see me.  It's the ONLY under eye product I've used that really works to camouflage those little under eye bags!

Maybe it's just me, but I really don't like when the hosts who constantly say they ONLY use clean beauty clearly get Botox & Filler injections. Doesn't that go completely against the whole concept of "clean" 😂

No! Skincare and tissue enhancement are two different things.

Well I find "tissue enhancement" using Chemicals containing Toxins & Plastics to not be in line with Only Clean Beauty & aging gracefully as they claim.  I'm personally not against Botox or juvederm...but I don't claim to ONLY believe in clean beauty either.

Who has said they believe in aging gracefully? Is there a video we can see? Most are fighting it in one way or another.  Hence the multitude of products, procedures, and gadgets out there.  I don't think I've heard any host claim they ONLY use skincare.  As for clean beauty, that's an ambiguous term anyway, left up to individual interpretation.  There is no industry definition for it.

A video 😂😂😂, No I don't have a video but several of the female hosts claim to only believe in clean beauty. As far as gadgets, I don't put them in the same class as Toxins Or Plastics Injections.

I use water on my face only. Then as needed for very dry patches I have prescription hydrocortisone seems to work well. Regular face creams, argan oil, etc still dried my skin as many products contain alcohol with the exception of argan of course.

I just read an article that said the overuse of skincare products is making our skin worse. Women experiencing breakouts, milia, redness, etc are being advised to drastically reduce the number and amounts of products they use. Limiting their routine to cleanser and moisturizer resulted in clearing skin problems. Also eating well and getting enough sleep helps. Your bank account will also thank you.

@chessylady   I think that's true. My derm says it's bad for the skin barrier to use a physical scrub and i personally don't use any serums except Vit. C in the morning under my SPF. She also said cleansing in the morning (except very oily skin) is not necessary...just a splash of lukewarm water. If I see a bit of mascara residue, I may use a cotton round with Miscellar water. My spf has a moisturizer, so unless skin feels extra dry, I skip that step.

I agree w/ @Sugipine that Retin A/tret has solved a lot of issues that required extra products.

Cleanser and moisturizer is not enough.  There's no way I'm giving up tretinoin (Retin A), Vitamin C and a scrub.

I wash my face with Cetaphil Normal to Oily formula, then spray my face with WEN Replenishing Treatment Mist and apply moisturizer (currently Clinique Dramatically Different Gel). Once a week, I carefully use a gentle scrub (St. Ives or Walmart dupe).

I've been using multiple anti-aging skincare products since the age of 19, when I went to work for Estee' Lauder.  At 57, I don't plan to minimize.  My line-up works at keeping my skin healthy looking and radiant.

I have tried a few products that don't seem to change anything for the better, so I have removed them from my line-up.  For example, Azelaic Acid is highly touted to clarify uneven tone, but I didn't see any additional improvement that my current line-up already provides, so I didn't re-order it.

I agree.

Back in my 40s, I read an articlee in a magazine that promoted soap and water and exfoliation.  Tried it and liked the results and have been doing it ever since.

Women in my family have fairly good skin ... good genes .... really can't take much credit for what I've inherited.
