Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer

Wow!  Today for the first time in weeks, I decided to put on a bit of foundation and blush.  I always use a primer and in my stash there was a small bottle of Milk Hydro Primer so thought I'd try it.  It is really good!  Used it with my L'Oreal Serum Foundation and my makeup has looked good all day long including the blush.  I am impressed.  Have the dupe - Elf Power Grip Pirmer - on its way so hopefully I'll like that as much.  Will try the Milk over the next few days with my other foundations and see how it goes.  This just may beat out the other primers I'm using.

@JudyL  - I've never tried a gripping primer, but a lot of the You Tubers seems to like this brand too.

@San Antonio Gal - I've heard about it from YTers also and I think @monicakm has mentioned it.  At some point - don't remember when - I must have purchased the small trial size and then forgot about it until today.

Yes, I remember having a discussion about it here.  I don't remember why, but I decided at the time a gripping primer probably wasn't for me.

@Icegoddess - I remember feeling that way also.  Think I thought it might feel tacky once applied.  It did feel a bit tacky at first but that went away and my foundation applied beautifully.  There was no residual stickiness or tackiness at all.

Re: Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer

@JudyL I know my main reason for primer is to hide my larger pores.  I know Monicakm doesn't have that problem so we often disagree on primers.  But, I don't know if that had anything to do with it or not.

I had a small trial size too.  I can't recall which foundation I used but I know I did not like the Hydro Grip at all.  Maybe I tried it with Fenty's powder foundation.  That could have been a problem lol  I just threw away a sample.  I like the Hourglass primer.  I've never had anything come close to be as good for my complexion/makeup.
