Microdermabrasion

Can someone please answer this question for me?

Are the results from the microdermabrasion (?) from Dr. Denese's "machine" or from the NuBrilliance at Home Microdermabrasion system DIFFERENT OR BETTER from what a specific skin care product can do?

Thanks for any info you can provide...........I don't want to spend a lot of money on some machine if a skin care product can do the same thing for me.
