Microderm360 same as the PMD? Please advise

I purchased Kelley West's Microderm360 about six months ago and I do see benefits, but was watching QVC last night and the PMD looks like it is different? Anyone know enough about these two to compare/contrast? Thank you so much for any help!

I think they are different, but not by much. Personally, I can't unsee the very first presentation of this (PMD) where the model's skin was red and had these angry looking circles on it. Even the vendor looked upset by it. Could be effective in the long run, I guess.

On YOUtube, hotandflashy has started using the PMD and has video on it.

Re: Microderm360 same as the PMD? Please advise

If my memory is correct, I think someone posted the woman who invented the 360 invented the PMD first, then sold the company and moved on.

At that time, it was at least one poster's opinion that the 360 was better (gave reasons but since I don't have either, didn't sink in). Seems like the PMD has a new model, though?

I'm sure I'll eventually end up getting one or the other, so hope someone comes along who can REALLY answer your question, and I can learn, too.

The 360 has a permanent, diamond-tip head. It never needs replacing. The PMD is the original model, designed by Kelly as well. It has small disc type heads that do not replacement every so often. They are sold in sets of 6.

If you already have the 360 you don't need anything else. The principle is the same for both. I use the PMD and am satisfied, although I imagine your version works a little better.

I think she did the Micro dermatologist MD. THE PHDMsupposedly is more aggressive due to the difference in the diamond tips, as I recall.
