Microdelivery Wash

I just opened my new 16oz bottle of Microdelivery Wash that I purchased at Sephora right before Christmas. Was washing my face this morning. Always do two rounds of cheeks, nose, chin, forehead. On my second round on the forehead, I felt pain. It was similar to the pain you get from a paper cut. Rinsed my face and sat down at my vanity. Sure enough, I now have a 1/2 long cut on my forehead.

What's up with that? Has this happened to anyone else? Did I rub too hard (I don't think I did)? Did I get a bad batch? I can't believe this. I loved this stuff. First the Miracle Worker eye cream burned my eyes and now this. I don't I like Philosophy much anymore.
