Am having my brows microbladed next month and am too excited. Have been severely “brow challenged” since my late teens. As well, my symmetry is wonky. Did tons of research for a long time. Before making an appointment. Chose someone who has done brows of women of all ages, challenges including allopecia, hair loss due to illness, chemo...other issues. And tons of pictures, recommendations. Am prepared for the aftercare which is the most difficult aspect, imo. Has anyone on this forum had this done? I have chosen to go with ombré microblading as it is more 3D with shading as opposed to one dimensional microblading.

@BeautyLver  That sounds awesome!  I'd love to do it, but I'm so allergic to everything, I'm afraid to do anything like that.... It would be horrible if I was allergic to the dye.  Please share the results!

@BeautyLver  Yes, I had my brows microbladed about 4 mos. ago - best thing I have "ever" done!  I save myself at least 8-10 solid minutes each morning perfecting my brows.  Virtually cut my routine in half!

I too chose the 3-D or ombre brow, strokes with the light shading.  I originally went with the natural, one dimensional microblading but then at my perfecting session (5 weeks in) I agreed to the light shading.

It sounds as though you've done your research finding the right brow tech/artist.  I went to a girl who was first a benefit brow specialist who went on to get microblading certification.  I wouldn't have trusted anyone else.  If you're in the New York area, I can definitely recommend!

You will love it!  I cannot express how happy I am with the outcome.  Best of luck to you!

@BeautyLverI have not had this done but am looking forward to hearing how it went for you.  I've seen some before and after pics that are simply amazing.

O/T - Welcome to the forums!

Hi Ladies,
Thanks for this post on 3d microblading ombré method. I am very interested in getting this procedure done. I’m located in New York and am interested in finding a great place in Manhattan. In addition, how much does this usually cost? I appreciate any help and recommendations. Thanks.

I am 65 & would love to have this done, except....all  I have seen with this procedure looks too harsh. My hair is white & I wouldn't know what color. I would like to know more about how you pick the shape & such. My eyebrows are gray & mostly invisible. (Do people my age even do this??)

@QVCPhobe

It's a method of tattooing to create eyebrows if yours are too light or sparse.

Usually blondes or all grey hair they use taupe on your brows. Are your natural brows white or still brown? I am a natural auburn who now has all white hair and my brows are still the same reddish light brown they always were.
