@CherryHugs - I think it depends on the foundation. Some apply better with a dampened sponge, some with a brush. I usually use a dampened sponge but that will sheer out the foundation. If you want more coverage, then a brush is good. If I use a brush, I will then go over my face after application, tapping lightly, with a dampened sponge to blend.

I put it on my fingers and tap dots around my face and then blend. I've blended with fingers for years, buffing out at the end with a dense brush. I recently got an iT blurring foundation brush and have used it a few times to apply using the same technique of dotting the foundation on with my fingers and using that brush to blend it. I think either method works well. I don't think it gives me any more coverage than applying with fingers does since I use the same amount of foundation either way, one pump with a dot of Fenty Drop'lit.

I usually always use a brush, and depending on the foundation it depends which brush I use.
For more coverage I like a brush like the Bare Minerals Beautiful Finish Foundation brush. I like the indentation on top holding the foundation. Of course there are similar imitation brushes to be found at a fraction of the price, and they work just as well for me.

I'm from the "hurry up and get it done" line of thinking. Put some foundation or CC cream on my fingers, rub the fingers together, and apply like moisturizer, but taking note to get all areas covered. It seems to work fine for me. I'm more attentive to the rest of my makeup application. 🤷‍♀️

I use a foundation brush if it's a solid/cake foundation or a loose powder. I use my fingers for a cream foundation. Liquid foundation I use a brush. (I put the liquid on the back of my hand and brush it from there to my face. This avoids streaks, for me. Hope one of these work for you.

I apply mine with a damp Beauty Blender. I do like foundation brushes as well, and plan to purchase the one by Rare Beauty soon....

I almost always use my fingers. The warmth helps to blend the foundation or tinted moisturizer. It is more sanitary. Who washes a brush everyday?

I use my bk 101 foundation brush. It's my ride or die. Right now I am using the doll 10 tinted moisturizer.

I have a spray brush cleaner and I actually do spray them after every use.
