Mega-size Reserve ingredients?

I don't remember my regular size bottle having oleic acid, lecithin and tocopherol in it. I also haven't purchased it in awhile. Formula change?

Re: Mega-size Reserve ingredients?

Her website lists the ingredients of the regular size as Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil*, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride** (and) Argania Spinosa Extract** (and) Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil** (and) Glyceryl Stearate**.

It's a mystery as to why this product is so special.....

every presentation neither the host or Josie ever really said anything specific except that it was hand numbered.

Made this an easy no for the TSV

Wonder about the "if sold separately" price difference.  That is an awesome gap.  Something seem off.

Re: Mega-size Reserve ingredients?

Why oh why, would anyone spend this kind of money on overhyped and under-disclosed ingredient products? You can go on Amazon and find reputable, organic argan oil from vendors ranging from Dr. Mercola to various European companies, all at about one tenth the price! Josie Maran is now a mega corporation and the ingredient decks on these products, not really disclosed during presentations, are nothing unique and surely not simple.

I've wondered through the years what the difference is between her argan oil and all the other brands of argan oil that sell for so much less.

Re: Mega-size Reserve ingredients?

There is a difference...the more colored an oil, the richer the nutrients that are retained. Not that I ever tried her regular argan, but that is very refined. The Reserve, not so much.

However, I did try her Reserve, but felt it was no better than any of the many other oils I've tried (not a few).

The oleic acid & tocopherol may be (or not) intrinsic -- in other words, natural to the oil, but the lecithin? Why would these be listed in the ingredient deck? They must be listed because they are outsourced (apart from the argan nut, leaves & bark).
