Has anyone tried Meaningful Beauty?  You get so many products for $49!!  I wonder if it is actually made in France.

My sister tried it and didn't care for it.  She had the hardest time trying to cancel the shipments.  It was a nightmare.

I had the same experience Trends2dogs sister had.  Not noteable results and stopping it is a problem.  Wai Mart has a line, Earth to face and it id made in the US.  I like it and use a little of all catagories.  I also want to try their line of Clean but want to see where it is made.

Hard to cancel from the TV infomercials - this is via Gunthy Renker (sp) - I would avoid ordering.

Is Cindy Crawford still connected to that?  She was the "creator" so to speak about that line with Doctors and all. I did not realize it was still around.  I liked Victoria Prinicpal's line for years but never tried Cindy's.

Here's the rub w/ most makeup/skincare kits offered on infomercials. That wonderful price you see is not for the full size products they use in the ads. When you call to order, they let you know it's for a 30 day supply (smaller sizes). You also need to sign up then for monthly deliveries of the kits. Good luck trying to cancel. Even if you are able to discontinue the deliveries, it takes 4-6 months and meanwhile you've been charged for those months. Buyer beware.

YES!

All of this is true. The first set is smaller and $49.95, but when you check out, you get this message:

One month after your first order is shipped, and then every three months thereafter, you will be sent a new full-size supply of Meaningful Beauty®. Each shipment will be charged to the card you provide today, in three monthly payments at the low price of $49.95 plus $3.99 for shipping and handling per month, unless you call to cancel. There is no commitment and no minimum to buy.

So that $49.95 kit is now $53.94 a month. And even though it's easy to order online with the push of a button, you have to call to cancel. You have to speak to a real person while the phone winds you through a voice mail system designed to sell you more. And when you get a person, they try to upsell you.

And they say there's "no commitment and no minimum to buy," but there are hundreds of stories of people who canceled and got a shipment anyway, then refused to pay for the shipment and had Guthy-Renker send them to collections agencies.
