Max coverage face brush

I recently purchased thus brush based on a YouTube video. The girl used her regular foundation with it for concealing all over her face then buffed with the flawless brush. When I tried I didn't see too much coverage. Maybe I didn't use enough foundation on brush. This is the large face brush. How do you use it? And do you use your foundation or bisque , how much? TIA!
