I am just now able to check in again. We're out of state for my DH Dr.'s apt at the VA. We'll be headed home tomorrow. I so much appreciate all the suggestions her and I'm definitely going to see what works for me and my complicated skin tone.

glmama you are so welcome! I hope you are getting some really good ideas as well! I'll check back tomorrow night hopefully when we get home.

Urban Decay Naked Palettes.

I was interested in these. The smaller set. Do they last and do they crease? Thank you. I have fair skin, blue eyes and dark hair. I was thinking of the #2 set.

I have the Naked 3 and love it. They do last all day on me. I have pink undertones and very fair skin tone. urban Decay, Laura Mercier, and Too Faced are my favorites. And Makeup Forever is great too, but I usually use their shimmer finishes in that line.

Another vote for the IT eye palette. Both of the IT palettes are wonderful, but I'm loving the new one. Neutrals, soft and blendable.

Thanks to everyone who is raving about the new IT palette! I just watched the video on it & I may just get it.

I don't usually like palettes; too many shades I don't use. This really looks nice. I like that it is not all nudes, too.

I could never make Paula's Choice Nude Palette work for me. I don't know why but not for lack of trying. That'll get tossed in the makeup graveyard. My current fav is Lorac Unzipped. It's not all matte, but the shimmer is so subtle it works on older eyes beautifully.(I happen to like a little bit of glisten to wake up my eyes)

I bought the newest It Cosmetics palette, but haven't even opened it yet.

Bobbi Brown has great shadows & palettes as does Urban Decay- which I buy as singles because I have fav shades and formulas. I can't stand the full-on sparkle formula with all of that chunky glitter fallout.
