I'm looking for a voluminous, lengthening, non transfer ( most important) mascara? I know many like Thrive but I didn't find it to be thickening. What are some of your all time favorites? Love your thoughts  Thanks

Hi @jobiz

I was going to suggest Thrive.  It's the only one that doesn't really flake or transfer for me.  I think it's because it's the tubular kind.  I think Benefit also has a tubular version that is popular.

I've tried lots of different mascaras. My all time favorite is Too Faced Better Than S-X . It thickens, lengthens & doesn't clump. After putting it on,I brush through my lashes with a dry mascara brush. It gives them a very natural look.

@jobiz

My favorite mascara right now is Benefit's - Badgal Bang, it's smudgeproof, water-resistant and volumizes.

Re: Mascara help

[ Edited ]

My two favorites are:

Benefit BadGal Bang - It's a great mascara but pricey when buying a single tube. I only buy when I can get a deal.

Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect (black tube w/green writing) - super inexpensive but surprisingly good performance.  There's a bit of a cult following.

No matter which mascara I use, I always start with the Essence Lash Primer.

Also, in ful disclosure, I faithfully use Vie Beauty Lash Serum.  My natural lashes are longer than ever.  Adding the primer and mascara gives me an awesome result.

@SloopJohnB @jobiz    I guess I am old school too.  I have tried other more expensive mascaras but always come back to Maybelline Lots of Lashes.  It has the pointed cone brush.  The mascaras that form a tubular coating on my lashes always flakes and are difficult to remove.  "Old School"works for me.

Smashbox Superfan. I have no idea where I got this. I have no recollection of ever buying it, but it makes my lashes look amazing.

I agree with SloopJohnB - Maybelline Great Lash is the best!

I have also tried Maybelline 'Falsies' mascara, it is a thickening type mascara, but I found it 'clumpy'.
