Mary Kay- any recommendations?

Hello beauties!

My friend is hosting a Mary Kay party for one of my co-workers. I hate these things because then you're obligated to buy and I don't use Mary Kay. Really the only thing I could use is a brow pencil. Do any of you use any Mary Kay products that you really like? I was looking at a cream shadow. Part of the problem is I am on a very tight budget and my other friend is having a Pampered Chef party this coming week as well!
