I have never diluted mine. Use it straight out of the bottle with no problems whatsoever @goldensrbest

@SilleeMee  May I ask what you use it for, or what are the best uses for you?  I'm currently only using argan oil.  TIA

When I used to use it, I always used it straight- it was never in a carrier oil. It isn't an EO so not sure why it would state that. It is sometimes even used AS a carrier oil itself.

Recently I've been on an oil journey @2blonde Woman Happy. Right now I've been alternating between marula, rosehip and Palmer's Skin Therapy Oil for faces (blend of many oils). I 've been using them pretty much the same way...either mix them with my moisturizer or just putting it over my other products. I always apply my oils as a final step but I think you can use it as you please. I also like mixing my oils in with my body lotions as I am applying them. I don't like dumping my oils into a bottle of lotion because this may cause the oil to lose some of its antioxidative properties.

@SilleeMee  Thanks for your reply.  I've been using the argan oil as I mentioned, and I use it pretty much the same way you use your oils.  I like to add it after my final moisturizer cream, paying extra attention to the areas that need it the most.  I find this extra step has helped keep my skin moist and supple even through the winter months, and it hasn't caused any breakouts.  I don't expect miracles at 68, but I'd like to keep further wrinkling at bay!

I just looked at my pipingrock marula oil bottle and it says it is an essential oil right on the bottle which doesn't make sense to me because in their description of the oil it says the oil is made by cold-press method of extraction.  I emailed them to ask how they make this oil. I think the label is wrong, just guessing. Just from my experience with this company over the years, I have seen them make some minor mistakes but they have corrected themselves after it has been brought tho their attention.

@SilleeMee  Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought "essential oil" would mean that it is not produced by your body (I know it's that way with essential vitamins).

No, your description of EO is incorrect. The oils are called "essential" because they are considered to be essence of the plant from which they are derived which in this case, distillation via heat. Essential oils are highly concentrated forms of natural chemicals extracted from the plant and can be toxic on the skin if not diluted first.

I can see why you would think this way @2blonde Woman Happy  In nutrition "essential" means something that is needed to sustain life, not necessarily one that is not produced by our own body but all of them...water, proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, and minerals.
