Today on my homepage I saw Marilyn Monroe's beauty routine. ( I've heard  her complexion was like a pearl!) Her dermatologist was Ernest Laszlo!!! It was prescribed for "Marilyn Monroe Miller." I'm thinking she had beautiful skin long before she married Arthur Miller-probably born with it. But it amazes me the things they know about people long gone. BTW, it also said the routine is available at amazon.

I've read that she stayed out of the sun to keep her skin looking pale. That would explain a lot about her complexion since the sun does most of the damage.

I have never heard of these products but I’m going to look them up!

Followup: looked up the ingredients and was very surprised to see one of them that is included is TiO2 which is disappointing to me but won't affect most others. My guess is that when the Ernest Lazlo products were invented, mostly natural ingredients were used and I feel that natural ones make for excellent skin care!

Speaking of well-known people who were known for beautiful skin, have you ever heard of bee venom being used by the royals? Did not know if perhaps this was a fable?

That is amazing!  Thanks for posting this.  This was quite a detailed beauty care routine.  I always thought she was amazingly beautiful.  I have a long-time fascination with Marilyn!!!
