@SMA X 2I started wearing this in the late 80's, early 90's. I love CK's Obsession on everyone but ME; it smelled like cat pee on me. A SA gave me a sample vial of Pheromone while at Neiman Marcuse (back when she was sold in high end department stores) and fell in love with that heavy, smokey, exotic scent. You didn't need much as it was VERY potent. With my body chemistry, it was amazing and people would ask me (after a hug or standing close to me) what I was wearing- Pheromone. Since you couldn't find it easily, I would tell them to call so and so and Neiman Marcus
On a trip to Chicago, I had the luxury of going to her boutique, meeting her and having her do my makeup; lovely, classy lady. Just... amazing. From that point on I received her catalog(s) and would order over the phone.
One day I saw her on HSN selling her makeup kits; great deal, fantastic products. Around this time I noticed Pheromone was no longer available in department stores, only her shop and HSN.
She used to offer her PURE parfum in a bottle called "21 drops" which was a small glass bottle of 21 drops of Pheromone as well as 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and 1 full ounce of PURE parfum Pheromone. The 1 ounce bottle was breath-taking: Baccarat crystal with a full cut crystal stopper and filled with Pheromone. I have 2 of them; one opened and 1 still sealed. I'm also am on my last 21 Drops bottle.
I don't know when it all changed, but it did. Now she sells her Eau de Parfum but not the pure parfum. Last year, she offered a "Pure Perfume" Set of Pheromone and Destiny (a lovely floral scent- well, it used to be) at HSN and her site and I ordered it. OMG....the stench. Smelled NOTHING like what I have from the early 90's and yes, it's been awhile but pure parfum lasts a long time and you use very little. The color was different, the notes were similar but on....CAT PEE.
OP, it's a long story but I wanted you to know about my love of the product and Marilyn Miglin before giving you my answer to your question because, well, it's not worth the money any more. The ingredients have changed and she can no longer use many of the pure ingredients due to the change in fragrance laws of 10 plus years ago (research it, you'll see how scents definitely changed and for the worse). This is why there a large market for buying OLDER bottles of unopened scent prior to when these laws went into effect. It's a shame but there it is. Pheromone of today is not the Pheromone your mother wore. It may smell great on you but it isn't the same scent due to the ingredient deck having to change to include many synthetics over natural source.
HTH : )
