Sadly, I have too many but keep buying more.  It's hard to pick a fav but I'll go with "It"; Laura Geller (especially the Kabuka) and throw in Sigma.

I gently wash my brushes with diluted J & J baby shampoo and lay them out on a clean towel. The key to maintaining them is allowing them to air dry.

I have a mix too. Most of mine are Laura Geller. I stocked up when she left Ulta.

My favorite foundation brush is actually a Prescriptives blush brush. An mua from another line recommended it.

For blush, it's Laura. I have an old double brush (foundation and blush). I rarely use the foundation side.

My favorite eyeshadow brush is actually one from IT. When I tightline I use a brush from Laura Mercier.

I need a good concealer brush.

I have others. I need to go through them.

When I clean them I use my liquid face cleaner too. I figure it's safe, and it will do a good job of getting rid of makeup. I lay them to dry on top of cube boxes so they are balancing with the end(s) hanging over the edge.  Smiley Happy

Bdellium Tools Flat Eye Definer #714 For tight-lining pressed shadow powder into lash line.

Quickie clean method using micellar water on paper towel. Swipe back and forth until brushes come clean. Do a full wash using Dawn maybe a couple times monthly.

@SilleeMee

I bought the Bdellium Tools Flat Eye Definer #714 a while back per you recommendation.  It is great for using eyeshadow as an eyeliner!  I wet mine.  Thanks again for the suggestion!

I have a set of Lancôme brushes. The ones I use most often (eye, foundation, blush & highlighter) sit in a plastic cup on the counter. Whenever they need cleaning, I use Johnson's baby shampoo & clean them until the water is clear in my palm. Then I let them air dry upside down.

Re: Makeup brushes - which ones do you own & how do you clean yours?

I ahve so many brushes due to when BE, and Smashbox years ago had their TSV'S on QVC, they always included makeup brushes-Mally too......I am talking 10 years ago or more, and I bought almost every TSV from Mally, BE and Smashbox back then, so I have a lot of brushes and they are good quality brushes!!!

I have given some away to my daughters and I still have a ton...Of course I only use some of them, and I keep them clean using Purity! I gave away all of my eye brushes as I no longer wear eye shadow, only eye liner and mascara...

I use Careprost (Latisse generic) on my lashes and brows. I never really liked the brush which comes with it so I've been using this angled Smashbox liner brush and it makes application so easy. Just rinse it with water.
