Makeup Kits in General

I stopped buying kits. A prepackaged makeup assortment is not a good value for me anymore. At first I thought they were but I found I threw out more than I used.

Many times you receive kits as a gift with purchase, those are easier to swallow since I don't have anything invested in them.

I think that comes with age, when I was in my 20's, I couldn't get enough of the kits. I always thought if they put it in a kit, it will all work well together, that's not really true.

Anyone else share these thoughts?
