Makeup Artist Events at Sephora

Hi beauties. I was in my Sephora this week and an associate asked if I wanted to schedule time with a makeup artist at an upcoming Nars event. I scheduled some time, but I am not really sure what to expect. Have any of you gone to such an event and can you tell me what I might expect? TIA!
