For all the ladies with this problem. What makeup do you use? I will put on foundation and the minute I get a hot flash it feels like it all melted off. I can't remember the last time I wore mascara. Any help would be great.

I know you wrote in 2011. Have you found any face make up that you like? I am also having Hot Flashes. I have been using Tart Fair Amazonian clay. This is the only make up that I can wear with out setting flashes off. I would like to find another  makeup that looks good  and covers. I have dry skin, but feel I need to wear powder makeup. When I put on any other I can't wait to wash it off. Even when I put any cream on my face I start to sweat. Thanks.

I saw an eve pearl presentation recently and she sais her makeup wouldn’t be affected by a hot flash because it contained no water. I gave it a try and she was spot on. I do find her makeup a bit heavy so I do apply with a light hand. When the flash comes, just dab the perspiration away, don’t rub. My eyes are really watery and the only thing that works for me is the tube mascaras like L’Oreal double extend, trish mcevoy or the boots brand in the gold tubes. Hope this helps, I’ve had to pretty much completely change out my makeup and skincare in the past year thanks to “the change”. Stinks!!

@xstitch,   I am over menopause(Amen)  but you need a sweat proof, transfer proof foundation.  Laura Mercier has one called Flawless and her Friends & Family Event started today.  20% off & free shpg.  Check it out.  One thing I noticed from having menopause, I am never cold.  I think it would have to be below zero before I would feel it.  It seems that my body thermometer went up during menopause and stayed a little.  lol  Why do women have to go through all the garbage?  Periods, having babies, menopause.  P.S.  Rhiana has a new foundation at Sephora that is $34 and a bunch of shades but you would have to read the details but like I said, sweat proof, transfer proof is your best bet.
