Do you recommend getting makeup done at the salon either airbrushing or regular makeup application.  Not sure what to do.  Thanks

@baseballmom2Jane Iredale's make-up is used for wedding pictures. You might check to see who sells it in your area.

Unless you know a pro whom you have used before, I would suggest doing your own makeup, as long as you are used to doing so and know what looks best on you. I would not get your makeup done by someone who has not done it before, unless you can do a trial with her or him.

Re: Make up for son's wedding

I got a make over (eyes only) at Mac before my daughters wedding. I brought a picture of my dress, and the make up artist did a spectacular job on enhancing my eye color as well making me look vibrant and young. Explained every step as he went. I would suggest give them a try...then you'll also the make up if you decide to purchase.

Re: Make up for son's wedding

When my girl friend's son was married she went to the Lancome counter and was 'made up' by the sales associate...she bought all the products used and applied the makeup herself (with a little help) day of the wedding.

If you have the time and finances, have your make up done professionally the day of the wedding.  I would just want to make sure I was not overly made up.  Congrats on the wedding.

I think some Sephora's if you book an appointment do wedding makeup too.

@baseballmom2,       Yes, definitely have it done and make sure you tell the person what you like and what you are wearing.  It's good to treat yourself for this special occasion.    Cat Very Happy

Have a trial run first. Don't ever try something new on the day of the wedding.

If that's what you want, just don't do the false eyelashes. They look like a hooker.
