Make-up cases

I love Laura Geller's blushes and Balance & Brighten but I find the hinges on the cases break within a few weeks of daily use. I know I'm not hard on them. Does anyone else have that problem? It's frustrating because I have to just sit the lid on top and then I can't put them in my make-up bag. I love her products but I wish she would give more thought to the construction of the cases.
