Well, at least these products are temporary, pity the poor faddist that gets brows like that tatooed on!  Now that I'm getting older my medium brown brows are going grey, so for the first time in my life I'm using a matching brown brow pencil, but that's the extent of it, I would never use a black one or draw on a maxi-brow, ICK!

Last night I stopped in a Mexican restaurant to take out.  The young Hispanic girl at the register had drawn on her eyebrows.  It looked horrible.  She made her brows too big and long.  I don't believe these women look in the mirror!  However, my taco dinner was delicious!

The trouble is, they do look in the mirror and think it looks nice!

For more natural brows, I've resorted to brow powder....Anastasia w/ 2 shades. It seems to just add a "shadow" of color under the brow hair, but the darker shade in the compact adds hairs to missing areas. I use a clear brow gel to set.

When I lightened my hair to all white, stylist lightened my very dark brown, thick brows to a taupe shade..... More natural looking.

@chrystaltree  That is a wicked funny story.   Seems like something out of the eighties.  LOL    I have tried so many brow products (lost due to chemo) and the best one I ever tried was Josie Maran's but they discontinued it, so disappointing.   Needless to say I am a nut about natural looking brows so I have a sense of humor about it.  I would be terrified to tattoo them on in case I didn't like them.  Right now I've been using Benefit goof proof and /or Anastasia.   Both do the trick but I hope Josie comes out with a new one.

Didn't Brooke Shields start this look way, way back? Hers were natural and for a while everyone talked about them and now everyone has them.

Just wondering if you're referring to the one that was like a very fine pointed brush and went on, well hard to describe, almost like an ink, but not as harsh as ink would be. There was no variety of colors, just one. I used to get one like that, first from QVC then when they discontinued it, from her website. I loved that, except on hot humid days if you sweat it would turn an orangy color and then come off. The opposite end, I just remembered, had a spongy tip w/powder in it.

That Desiree is a beautiful charming girl but those eyebrows give her a perpetually surprised look. It was weird listening to her talk about how natural that product makes your eyebrows look when hers look anything but! Her skin looks absolutely flawless though. And she's easy to listen to. No uhms every 5 seconds.

Don't you find that Mally, LG and others also overdo the brows? Maybe they're trying to demo the product even if to the extreme. It still is a turnoff.
