@50Mickey @I think that years ago, when MAC started with this system, they were counting on in person customer MAC counter visits which allowed the salesperson to act as a consultant in the eyes of the shopper. As a consultant,she could drive up the sale. I've heard long time MAC customers refer to themselves by their MAC shade when asking about shades from other brands.
