I prefer OPI I Am Not Really A Waitess for an iconic red

I often wear shades of red or a dark plum lipstick.  I never put an opaque lipstick on thick.  I tend to just dab it on for just the right amount of color and not too heavy.

Love a good red lip!!  I have several favorites and they are just slightly different.  I love a rich blue based red!  Very Chic!!

@Shanus - My mom lived in Cherries in the Snow and Love That Red. Her complexion was more olive than mine, and although she had lighter eyes, she had blue-black hair when she was young.

I got my dad's complexion (light), so I always thought wearing red lips made me look like I was playing dress up!

Now I do wear red lips, but usually in the summer. My favorite is Lipsense's Fly Girl, which was developed with the help of British Airways flight attendants. It's a true red. I should try wearing it during the holidays, but I'm frequently wearing a red top, so I think a red lip with that might be too much!

You've just reaffirmed something I always tell my children - you never stop learning in any field. You're a beauty expert, and you now have a new technique!  Smiley Wink

Love. love, love a significant lip! I wear it with light bronzer. The MAC reds are also excellent, as are those by Victoria Beckham.

I am too lazy to apply eye makeup, so my lips are where I have fun!

That is a nail polish, not a lippie.

@Shanus

Picked up my Cherries in the Snow today and will try it out tomorrow on my trip to the grocery store.

Exciting, right? Cat LOL

It looks dark in the tube so I'll try tapping it on and see how that works.  It was $6.87, so I don't mind experimenting.

I will be trying a red lip for Christmas...light skin and darker hair. I am excited about it.
