@Desertdi   That was my pleasant unexpected surprise. It appears to be a charcoal added to the emerald green when applied.

@Mom2Dogs   ITA that much liner is over the top for ost of us. Wiggle it between the lashes or use a liner brush against the liner to get a smoothe fine line.

@Effie54   Do you mean the Sand shade or the Hourglass? If so, the Sand it goes just in the inner waterline to make the eye appear brighter and larger by continuing the white of the eye. The color you use under the lashline should be a fairly light shade, but noticed to define the shape of the eye. I use either topaz or a light charcoal.

This greenish/grey shade is between my upper lashes.

@Shanus  It was the Urban Decay liner in charcoal matte, for the waterline. It's my first time trying a darker waterline. I have tried the lighter inside waterline, which works great. I just haven't tried the darker yet. I have blue eyes....lighter skin.

@Effie54   Not sure which waterline you're referring to, but I've found that lining bottom waterline with a darker color can close off the eye and make it look smaller. I line the top waterline w/ a color and inside bottom with a light beige to take the redness away.
