Normally, I always purchase a new make up item for the upcoming fall/winter months.  Knowing me, it will be a new lipstick shade.  How about you?  Do you like to purchase a new make up item or two just for the fall/winter? If so, please share.

Makeupwise, I'm only planning on the new IT Cosmetics Naturally Pretty "Romantic" Eyeshadow Palette and adding 2 or 3 Skinn Hollywood Lip Palettes to my collection.  I'm really liking these lip palettes lately.

No, not really.

I always seem to be looking for better lipstick colors that actually stay on my lips. I do probably look for deeper berry shades in the fall/winter but it always depends on what I already have.

Armani fluid tint liquid eye shadow.  I have two that I love.  I'm going to get another color (or two).  They are beautiful and wear like iron.

Right now I'm going makeup free.  I work at a prison, so this is not an issue for me to be see without makeup here.  I'm trying to get my eczema under control from sweating so much due to the A/C at work being out.  Sweat makes it really flair up.  I'm also using Borghese mud masks and Southern Magnolia Minerals' blackhead/whitehead extracting powder and mud mask.  I'm praying it all clears up with these new additions along with Paula's Choice 25% vitamin C serum on the dark spots and acne scars and Resist C15 serum on the rest of the face.  My face is much smoother already, one week in, and now for the scars and discolorations to clear up.  Then I'll think about makeup again, especially once the air is fixed and I'm not sweating it all off before 8am.

I don't generally buy new makeup for any particular season.  It's more based on need and, of course, a splurge once in a while (much less often these days than in the past).  I am planning to purchase Onomie concealer after trying a sample, and I might treat myself to one of the Hourglass nude lip crayons (need to go to Sephora and check out the shades).

I've also been tempted recently by the IT celebration foundation (powder).  I don't wear foundation, but lately I'm feeling like I need to even out my skin tone and cover some discoloration.  I want something I can brush on quickly with minimal blending.

I always like to buy a couple of new lipsticks also. I can't wait for the first crisp fall day to do this!! Usually I go to the Estee Lauder or Clinique counter. I just love the fall!!
