I've seen MUAC at home peels mentioned on here and wondering which of their peels you ladies prefer and how often you use them. I'm thinking of starting with their 25% Mandelic once a week just to be safe, but curious where to go from there. I have pretty tough skin, so I don't expect the 25% Mandelic to do too much. What do you peeling veterans like to use? Thanks, ladies!

It's going to depend on what your goals are. They have great c/s so you could call and ask them for some recs. I started very light with a 40% lactic and have only gone as far as a 30% glycolic. I've been meaning to talk to them about a TCA. Remember to patch test first regardless of strength. You just never know.
Good for you for being smart about the peels. They are the real deal and not a slickly packaged and marketed watered down product.

If you have tough skin the 25% Mandelic will definitely not be too strong. I emailed MUAC and that was their recommendation for which peel to start with. I have had zero irritation with that peel even when using multiple times a week. Actually, I wish I had started with something a little stronger. (Like BellaCarro said, they have great customer service. I emailed them my skin type/problems and they emailed back a bunch of recommendations.)

Also, you can get small sizes of all their products so you might want to try that first. In hindsight, I wish I had tried the small size of multiple different peels instead of buying the larger of the Mandelic.

Good luck!

That is a really great tip. The sample sizes are very generous.

If you email MUAC with info about your skin and the results you are looking for, they will recommend the right peel for you. I have sensitive skin and they have actually talked me out of peels I wanted to try, but the products they recommended instead worked beautifully. They have never steered me wrong. I've been a customer for about 15 years. Sample sizes are very generous and are definitely the way to go.

I use the MACC sample sizes as well....I have done my face and hands twice and I like the results....I am planning on doing another peel next so that when I peel it will be after Thanksgiving. I am still using the sample bottle, great purchase, at least for me!
