Literally took over an hour to get 2 items ordered
Went on chat twice to resolve an on going issue not being recognized as a beauty insider, therfore they keep applying 6.95 shipping and will NOT accept any discount codes. Headquarters have tried to resolve the problem, only to have it happen every time i try to place an order.
On chat, she couldn't see my credit card., then I had to enter a gift card at least 4x because she kept saying it's invalid. Then finally went through...those annoying microscopic zillion #s 😡. She couldn't get the shipping off, so she finally entered a credit in the amount of the ship fee...WTH!!?? I still had to place the order myself because she didn't see my payment info...but I did it.
Idk what else to do to stop this problem.
My complaint is out there...they said last time they fixed it...NOPE!!

Snail mail a letter to Sephora's No. American headquarters in NYC directly to the CEO & President.
If you can speak & write in French, cc to their France headquarters.

I understand your issue !! I had a stressful time online last night trying to place a order with IL Makiage for foundation and a "Mystery gift" I went thru their foundation match system and placed my order then I was offered another product and declined. When I got the email for my completed order I got a second email for the second product they offered including final price and shipping info. I was livid because I had declined that product. I emailed the company because there was no phone number. I received a response today saying they were shipping the item and that I purchased it. They said there was nothing they could do and if I wanted to send it back I could do that within a 14 day trial period. I responded that I did not order it. Then I got a email stating I could just keep the item and I would not be charged for it and I could give it away if I didn't want to keep it. I responded and thanked them for not charging me the $40 for that item that I didn't order.

When you create a free account you become a beauty insider and get free shipping on every order. Then if you buy enough your entitled to a percentage off at certain times. Personally I only really use brand websites because I want the discount up front and you can usually find a coupon code. Plus most have reward programs. I have occasionally used Sephora for one item because the free shipping. Brand websites sometimes have a minimum for that

I often have problems signing into Sephora, and it more often happens when they're having one of their F&F sales. Coincidence? IDK. However, their suggestion that I remove and re-install my browser is a non-starter. I'm not having problems on any other site and it happens on multiple browsers.

@Dazlin. It appears there's some sort of glitch that may never get fixed. Can you close your account and start over with a new one?

@Kachina624 ...I agree, I think that may be the only option left. I'll probably lose my points, but I don't care about that, not much left. Not sure if I'd qualify for Beauty Insider if I start over...idk how they work it, but I think a glitch also. I lost out on the Insider sales because it wouldn't take the code...so I didn't order what I wanted during that discount time. Headquarters were notified, but nothing ever got resolved....so dumb!!

Sorry, those kind of days can make you feel like you've been beaten up🥴 I haven't had that kind of experience with Sephora but I certainly have with other businesses.
