@Bridgegal I too have the same issues with my lashes and have tried every mascara on the planet.  That being said I do not wear much  makeup at all but sometimes I will only wear a little mascara if I am going out to dinner or something.  I recently tried Burt's Bees nourishing mascara and it is cruelty free.  It actually stays on nicely and wasn't irritating at all.  I bought it on Amazon.

I also use Burt's Bees and Cover Girl Cleantopia.  I believe Covergirl is now cruelty free.
