Hello Shanus,

I carry mine in a snack size ziplock bag: eyebrow pencil, nail file, nail clippers, lipstick, Josie Maran Illuminizing Veil, mascara, small mascara brush from Ulta, folding hair brush, eye drops and little tooth picks. Also have a philosophy peppermint stick for my lips in the phone slot.

I cleaned out my bag while answering this, thank you!

Another question about makeup bags?

I'm with @Tinkrbl44 on this.  I carry a teensy tiny purse with lots of compartments.  I've never seen a need to carry a bag of makeup everywhere I go, but always have a tinted lip balm in my purse and in my car.   Now, back when I worked full time, I kept a makeup bag in my office desk.

@Shanus

I only use a makeup bag in my big work tote. With smaller bags I just use a little zippered inside compartment. I always have a couple lipsticks/balms & a mini brush & mirror. That is all that I consider essential.

Sometimes a nail clipper is there (in case I break a nail or play in the dirt Smiley Wink) but I almost never need it. My work tote holds a small hand cream but not in my makeup bag. Smaller bags may or may not have a hand cream in them.

Re: MAKEUP THAT GOES IN BAG

[ Edited ]

I don't swich bags as often as Qvc thinks we need new bags (I like Kipling), but maybe once a month. If I didn't use something in my bag that month, I don't put it in the new one. I do have a tiny touch up make-up bag for an emergency that just has concealer & powders. I always keep tiny basics of glass wipes, gloss, tweezers, floss, eye drops, Bobby pin, & foldable file, too. A small tube of spf lotion, too.

Oh geez, if I had to carry a "what-if" bag...well I'm afraid they don't make a bag big enough for that...LOL!Woman LOL

None on a daily basis. If I am doing something special, maybe a lipstick, if I even remember.

I carry those foil packets of pain reliever, the little single wipe packs of glasses cleaner, a nail file if I remember and a compact sunscreen/powder for oily skin to blot and protect.

I put on makeup at home and have never carried a makeup bag, but did have one in desk at work.  I will only carry a lipstick once in a blue moon.  If I have it I probably don't reapply it anyway.  I'm not a big lipstick person anyway--my lips are the exact color of Bobbi Brown's first medium shade lipsticks, so I don't really need to.

How wonderful for those lucky ones who don't see the need for a makeup bag or who don't need to perhaps freshen up during a long work day (which may end long after 5:00 PM)!
