My makeup died a sweet and quick death this morning.....while I was tweezing my brows!!

It's a stand mirror that is charged by plugging it in, but that feature broke long ago and I've ben using it plugged in with the cord stretching across my vanity.

Specifications:

1.  I'd like one with no magnification on one side and high enough magnification to do detail work w/o my glasses.

2. I like a stand mirror and the lighting doesn't need to be daylight, sunlight, indoor light, etc. like the one that just died. "Normal" lighting is fine.

3. I'd love one w/o a cord that can be charged

4. Amazon has pages of choices and I'm baffled and cross-eyed doing comparisons.

Any suggestions are welcomed. TIA

Re: MAKEUP MIRROR SUGGESTIONS

@Shanus  I am using World Backyard Professional makeup mirror. It is a regular mirror on one side and 7x on the other. I am using it for 5 years without a problem 1 purchased it on Amazon.....$36 worth every penny.

Re: MAKEUP MIRROR SUGGESTIONS

The older I get, the higher the magnification I seem to need.  When this one gives out I think I will need to step up a bit.  Might be something to consider when getting new.

Re: MAKEUP MIRROR SUGGESTIONS

I have an older Conair which has never really worked great.  It has a charger cord but the on/off switch has always been an issue.  It has normal magnification on one side and 10X on the other which for me is perfect.  When this one dies I want to buy a Simplehuman mirror, pricey but seems to be a good product from what I've read.  Good luck in your search Smiley Happy

Re: MAKEUP MIRROR SUGGESTIONS

Both of the makeup mirrors broke at the same time last Christmas. I found a simple Conair at Kohl's. It has the variable light switch and the round swivel to for from normal view and flip to have the magnafied view. Works great and has a light feature on'off/

the second one is a Fanci model that is cordless. It has a three part mirror depending on how much magnifying you want to see. I wear glasses so it works grate for eye makeu-up application, etc. It has a light function but simple off/on and dimmer switch option for the light. I found this one at HSN. I wasn't sure I would like cordless but have to admit that I really like this feature now. Love having all the views since I don't have to keep taking my glasses on and off to apply makeup.

Hope one of these work for your needs.

I don't think you can go wrong with the Zadro brand. They come in many sizes, styles and prices. Just pick one that suits your style.

Amazon has a Zadro store.

Re: MAKEUP MIRROR SUGGESTIONS

I bought one last year at Costco.  It is rechargeable, but I haven't had to recharge it yet.

I use it to tweeze eye brows and to insert a huge medical contact lens that is difficult to insert correctly.

It rotates up and has three different light settings.  10x mag on one side and 1x on the other side.

If it dies, I will get another.  It's really nice and a great price too.

Re: MAKEUP MIRROR SUGGESTIONS

I own the Simplehuman one. I love it! It's adjusted to go up and down depending on your height when you're sitting doing your makeup. It tilts. It's rechargeable but holds a charge for a long time. It was pricey, but to me it was worth it.

Re: MAKEUP MIRROR SUGGESTIONS

I have a Zadro one too. The light is bright and the mirror is distortion free in my opinion. I had a Simple Human one, but, after 2 years the light just died!
