For some reason I tend to forget how much I've liked many MAC lipsticks (and other products) over the years. I'm generally always happy with my MAC purchases and I used to love the lipstick color Twig.

Wow- I am so sorry for those of you who were not treated respectfully at Mac Counters! Absolutely no excuse for this. If I were treated that way I would never buy their products as well! Most all of my MAC purchases have been with Nordstrom. Mostly because it's more cconvenient but also because in the event I need to return or exchange something it's no hassle. I found that the stand alone MAC stores are more restrictive on their return policices

I dress the way I feel comfortable when I go shopping. I certainly don't dress up or put on jewelry in order to get good service. If they want my business, they'll treat me with courtesy no matter what.

This was from the days when my Grandmother would take me shopping in downtown San Francisco. Just became habit. But---I no longer wear gloves!

Plus, I always wear full on make-up because I'm not much to look at in the face department. Feel I absolutely must make the rest of me dressed to the 9s.

What is this thing you call "gloves"?????? Wink

Seriously, I just meant that I don't think anyone should purposely get all dolled up in order to get good service.

Okay ladies. try VELVET TEDDY BEAR with WHIRL lip liner........WOW. I've never gotten so many compliments. It's a nude but it's a mauvy nude and it just is beautiful.......on all the makeup tutorials as a very popular shade.

I've had to find dupes for some of my discontinued favorites and usually Revlon hits the mark on some of them- even very similar texture.

For Velvet Teddy Revlon's dupe is called Mauve it Over.

Snob is one of my all-time favorites, but it can still be found on the MAC website. Maybe Velvet Teddy can be too? For some reason I was thinking it was dc'ed but haven't checked.
