MAC TSV GOING BACK

[ Edited ]

Between the shades the hosts hold up, models try on and vendors on ZOOM show/wear, my pkg. arrived and none of the shades are accurate.

I already own Cream In Coffee, but kit not worth just keeping a backup of that. One lipstick is almost sheer and one is so pale/deadly on my fair skin...a NO.

The lip pencils are also very dark...not neutral as stated. Coke shade is so dark, it'd be too dark as brow pencil.

I'm not only disappointed in the presentation, but it came in a pkg. that has a weird peel off label and you need to go online to print a return label. That's a PIA.

When will I learn?

OMG---doesn't that just make you so mad!!!  Can't tell you how many times I have done the same thing---seems like the studio lights do a weird number on what the true colors are---grrrrrr!!!

I really hate when That happens ! I debated all day the presentations and lighting made me doubtful on the shades. I didn't like the pale pinks as I know they would wash me out , onely the cream in the coffee would maybe work for me . I,prefer darker pigmented shades otherwise I look washed out . At first I thought it was a choice then realized the darker prettier shades were the AD , wish it had been a choice I would have ordered. I would only have been ordering for the 1 shade and the pencils which seemed darker and I like a darker pencil . Sorry you hsve to go to the trouble iof returning which is an inconvenience I know.

@Shanus @Ugh....I hate that. I exercised restraint and didn't order. I came so close! I don't know why that happens. That is maddening!

I'm not sue it sold well since the set appeared a few days later on another show. That's when I knew I'd be disappointed.

@Shanus @Haven't got mine yet. Went back and forth before I ordered. I was afraid 2 of the lipsticks would be the wrong color but they looked good on vendors and hosts so I went for it. I should have trusted myself and not ordered. I don't have a working printer so a return label is out.

Just because it is MAC doesnt mean it is right for everyone!! colors always look so different in different lights.

@Shanus - not only is what happened to you re the shades of the TSV maddening but how presumptious and infuriating is it that QVC assumes you or anyone has a printer so they can print a return label!  I'm going to assume one can call Q's customer service and tell them one doesn't have a printer and they will mail you a return label but what kind of customer service is that?!  That just delays the whole process and makes it more difficult for the customer.  I'm glad I didn't order the TSV.  Already have two of the lipsticks anyway and certainly didn't want/need a third.
