I am going through some old makeup products and found a bottle of MAC Fix+.  I don't use it and can't remember when I purchased it.  (I did call the company for info.)

With a product like this (spray), what would you do with it?  For those familiar with it, I believe it's a popular product.  But not knowing the date of when it was purchased, would you just throw it away?  Or give away?

I am trying to de-clutter and clear out old products and those I don't use.  Thanks for any  suggestions.

@Julie_23 Most of Makeup setting sprays like MAC fix plus last a few years. If in doubt, dump it.

@Julie_23 Spray it. How does it smell? I love the smell of Fix+ & I don't use it often so I keep my bottle for quite a while.

If you don't use it for anything else, use it in the bathroom as an air freshener. It works wonderfully for that purpose. I wouldn't buy it just for that. It would be a bit expensive, LOL. But, if you aren't using it anyway...

I love to mist it on my brush if I am going to foil an eye shadow, too.

Mac does have their Back To Mac program, if you have any other products you can turn 6 in & get a free lipstick (eye shadow, lipglass or lipstick, if you have an actual Mac Store).

@Julie_23, let your nose be the guide. If the product doesn't smell stale and sour, then it's probably safe to use.  However, since you've not used it for so long you can't recall when it was purchased, suggests that in this declutter phase you're having to just throw it away.

I use it for times when I do a full face and use a lot of powder products. It does help me not to look so powdery, but I don't use it for everyday. I love these facial mists and sprays. I have a makeup setting spray from Mehron I use to help my makeup last. I have a few others too.

I use it to make foiled shadows.  I also spray it all over my face at the end of putting my makeup on to help it look less powdery (I have dry skin).
