The woman from the Lume Commercial, she's in a pink tank, I think it's a crude commercial. Why put out a commercial using the words she says?

I can't remember the last time I actually heard, in- person, someone say them.

I know some commercials, shows, etc., want the audience to feel "hey, they're just like me."

I was going to try Lume, but if I'm feeling disgusted by a person or presentation, no way will I buy.

Just my humble op....

Another personal hygiene product directed at women.  Sick of it.  Men smell too, why are there no products for them advertised on TV?

She is a physician and CEO of the company.  I read they were recently acquired by Harry's (men's shaving company), but she will continue on as CEO.

I guess you've never seen the Ballsy commercial aimed at men. Google it.

I've recently heard a commercial for a new product for animal waste smells called something like Pooph.  The ads are very graphic.  One aired the other night while I was eating and I had to change the channel.  I don't need to see picture of barf and poop while I eat.

There's also the commercial showing the women sitting on toilets and talking about going #2.  I think it's for a digestive supplement.

I thought it was aimed at both sexes.

The ONLY commercials that bother me are the "abused animal" commercials.....They tare me up.... I can't watch them they're so disturbing. I do send money to these organizations (several animal support orgs) but I must switch channels when they come on. SO, a commercial about stinky bodies or poop smell? They don't bother me in the least. Not even a tinge.

@Kachina624 the Pooph and Car Shield ads are shown ad nauseum during my favorite show On Patrol Live and often comes up in the conversation among those of us that like to discuss the show as we watch it.  Lume was in there too, but they haven't been shown lately.

I think the Pooph guy is just copying the technique of the annoying but apparently very effective Sham Wow guy.  If you don't remember him, Google him and I bet you will.

Re: Lume Commercial Woman

[ Edited ]
  1. The woman in the LUME ad is a doctor, OBGYN who invented it.  I don't see anything discusting  about the commercial, except it is on way too much , goes in spurts. Can't be any worse than the  Poo commercials and ED ads with carrots geesh. You know what offends me is KK half naked promoting her skims dutring Little house on the Prairie. My grands watch. Why are they wasting ad money selling skims to kids. It is degrading to women if you ask me. I know she's beautiful and a good sales woman and is smart but give me a break. We are 2 inches from having naked people on tv demonstrating condoms.
