I have been a Wen girl in a Wen family for at least 3 years now. This latest TSV is my first time using the VTS. Holy Cow. The first day I used it my husband said, "your hair has more volume." I thoroughly questioned him about whether he had seen the bottle and was messing with me. (Cause apparently I think my husband looks and reads through the 10,000 beauty product I have in the house! {#emotions_dlg.lol})

After cleansing I used some leave-in and styling cream. Then I pat down my hair with a towel and put on my face for the day. After I'm beautified, I spray my roots, lifting up sections of hair to really get at the roots. I do not spray the length of my hair or the ends.
I comb that through and let my hair air dry.

Love it!!!

You crack me up!!! Great post. I am new to VTS and am excited to work it into my system. Thanks for explaining how you used it. I am going to do it exactly as you did today.

I kept thinking I was doing something wrong before i tried using the VTS… I was using a leave-in and styling cream but my hair still looked kinda flat and heavy with no bounce.. Introducing the volumizing treatment spray has made a huge difference. I use it just like chaz does… I add my leave in first, then i mix a pump of styling cream and 5 pumps of VTS together in my hand and apply to my underside and lengths of my hair… Sometimes i lift up my crown area and spray it directly on the root. at first it seems like its drying my hair but when i blow dry my hair it is so soft and bouncy afterward. The best part is using it as my hairspray… I now can get more days out of my cleanse because of the VTS. When i use the RTM it seems to make my hair greasy the next morning. using the VTS give me that beachy wave look on the second (and sometimes 3rd) day. So happy I finally got to try this!

Thanks for the tips. I have used the CC's, SC and RTM, but had not tried the VTM until this TSV. I have fine hair but a lot of it so it took a lot of other product to get some volume and keep a style. I am really liking it so far! I was worried about it not lasting long enough since the bottles are small compared to salon or DS sizes. A little goes a long way and holds the style all day.

I agree - this was a sleeper product for me too! I've never thought to use VTS before since I have curly hair and never really styled my hair to get volume... But using this does give me more volume! With wet hair, I spray it in my hand, then add the RTM (maybe 4-5 sprays each), mix them a bit and scrunch in. Sometimes I add the glossing serum too. Like the RTM, I find a little goes a long way. I think it keeps my curls in place too - but not stiff like a hairspray would. Bout time the VTS was in a TSV, huh? I hope the mousse comes in one soon!

I just had to say it again. I love using the VTS; best volumizer and hairspray ever!!! For me it just takes one to two pumps added to the styling cream and three more spritzes when my hair is styled. I'm having so much fun with everything that was included with my two TSVs, including each of the VTSs.

I like the VTS but never used mousse or volumizing products prior to Wen so won't use these products often. I do like both products but will only use them occasionally.
