Loving my new Shark Hair dryer

My favorite 10 year old SuperSolano hairdryer died and I was torn on what to get to replace it as the model was no longer made. Read a lot of reviews on different dryers and purchased a Shark. It is really really nice and dries my think hair quickly. A littl expensive but my hair does not do well with typlcal dryers as it takes so long to dry and they can be damaging. Used the Bed Bath and Beyond coupon for 20% off (does not work on the Dyson and Shark has better reviews).

Just thought I would share for those looking to try a new dryer.

It dried my hair quicky but seemed to cause excessive hair loss .

The lowest setting was hot.

I returned it.

Re: Loving my new Shark Hair dryer

I don't use a hair dryer anymore. My hair is fine and it doesn't take long to air dry. I've read that one shouldn't dry hair completely with a dryer, only partly then air dry the rest. Otherwse it could be damaging.

I don't think I could function w/o a hair dryer! LOL  seriously...I mean that...I have frizzy wild hair that must be washed and blown out with a good hair dryer.  Has never damaged my hair in the least and I have been doing this for 45yrs now.   Haven't used this one but when my T3 I purchased from Costco dies perhaps I will move up to a really high end one.

I don't even want to think about life without a hairdryer.  I use it till my hair is dry but I don't start with super wet hair.  It's probably 70% dry.  Shortish (bottom of neck) with lots of layers.  My style requires a blow dryer to fluff it out.  I don't use a brush or curling iron on it and wash, at the most, twice a week.  I think it's in good shape.  Christopher Hopkins taught me how to use my hands to shape my hair.

@monicakm   Me, too, I can't even think of not having a hairdryer.  It's the only thing I'd need on a desert island.
