Does anyone wear Tom Fords Lost Cherry perfume? Can you please tell what it smells like and if you like it.

It's been quite a while since I have smelled lost cherry.  All I can tell you is that I did not like it which means absolutely nothing to you since fragrance is so personal.  I like a lot of his other fragrances though and have one on today. It's tobacco something or other. And oud wood is one of my all-time favorites.

Yes, I own and enjoy TF's Lost Cherry very much. Also have tried and own many of his fragrances. What exactly do you think you may be looking for? Here's my comments just after I received mine last fall. It's also fabulous layered with his other scents. Something Tom Ford himself suggests doing. HTH.

@monicakm  Thanks for answering.Heart  I read that it has patchouli in it. I guess I want to know if the patchouli is overwhelming or not.

I don't mind a subtle patchouli. I just don't want it to smell like a 1970's head shop. LOL

I use Tokyo Milk with the upside down octopus on the bottle. It has patchouli and I love it.

Tom's Oud Wood is fabulous . I love it too.

@rochelleS  Your description sounds just like something that I would love. When the accords are listed, the patchouli is the penultimate accord. So, in my mind the patchouli probably isn't over done which is good.

I bit the bullet and bought a bottle. Hope it comes fast. It probably will.Woman Wink

Thank you for the great description.

You're welcome. I don't feel there should be any worries with the patchouli. I happen to like it, it's so grounding and fabulous in so many fragrances. But this has absolutely no bearing or similarity to the 60's and 70's popular but a very cheap and poorly processed scent. It's actually a member of the mint family. High quality patchouli has stringent growing  gathering and distillation methods. Time of day, weather, top, mid and bottom leaves are a major consideration as to quality in the end result. Same goes for the distillation process, methods, time and materials used greatly effect the end result. I found some most interesting articles online. Fascinating reads.

I hope you enjoy your Lost Cherry! Come back and share your thoughts. Just be patient and let the fragrance completely open and develop on your skin. It's a wonderful journey.

BTW,  there are more Cherry scents on the near horizon. Cherry Smoke, Cherry Velvet & Cherry Lush. I even head Electric Cherry floating around too. Scheduled to be released in retail starting with Xmas thru February...is the current online chatter.

I wish I could talk like that.

You know, after reading the excellent description above, I may be thinking of Bitter Peach and not Lost Cherry.

I like patchouli also.  My last Kayali fragrance is heavy on the patchouli. A little too heavy but I still like it.

Interesting (re cherry scents).  Can you share the brands that are coming out with these cherry scents?

@Queen of shop   It's not my favorite scent, sorry. The dry down notes remind me of Robitussin. Lol
