(The search function here is ridiculous, hardly any old posts come up). I've been wanting to try this as I don't usually wear foundations much at all, and when I go to buy one, I end up leaving the store without buying anything as I'm dumbfounded as to what shade to purchase.
In the past I've tried:
Cover Girl Aqua Smooth SPF15 - in creamy natural, but it's a little too dark for me, maybe a shade lighter would work
Cover Girl Simply Ageless - I picked a shade WAY too light for me and never tried it again
SSC ProMinerals Bella Rose - I can wear medium in the summer, light in the winter
Bare Minerals - the bismuth caused me to stop this, I used light/medium
SCA 8 Butters - in fair with a damp foundation brush
I hate most foundations as I can FEEL them but I think I finally need one now due to some discolorations popping up, I think it's hormonal. I've been lucky so far that I never needed one until now since I'm 58.
I think the Visible Lift Serum Absolute would be good, decided on #145 or possibly the next lighter shade. I'm dry, and I'm fair with cool undertones. Sometimes I think I may be a neutral undertone as my skin looks good in all clothing colors.
The only thing that's stopping me from buying the Visible Lift is the complaint about the pump not working when there's 1/3 left in the bottle still.
