@SilleeMee wrote:By definition antiaging means to prevent or reduce the signs of aging which would include foundations with sunscreen and good-for-your-skin ingredients such as peptides and retinol. Unfortunately Qvc does not break it down to where you can choose just those kinds of makeup foundations so you have to look at each of the foundations independently and look for ones which contain those antiaging ingredients. Honestly, that doesn't sound like fun to me but I would want to buy a few different brands then try them out. You have until the end of January to return it.
@SilleeMee I've rarely found foundations or other makeup that equals the benefits of skincare. Even if foundation has SPF and serums, etc., it's usually not enough and skincare should be carried down the neck and chest...not where I'd place foundations. What do you think?

Yes, I agree about skincare products being better at providing antiaging benefits far and above most any cosmetic. Since the OP is looking for antiaging cosmetics, I thought I would throw in my two cents about that particular search. For myself, however, I prefer using separate antiaging products made just for skincare rather than using a cosmetic containing those kinds of ingredients. I never apply a cosmetic to my neck or chest. I guess I don't need any there.

I've had great results from the Dr. Denese skincare line which also has some makeup products. I alos have makeup from the Doll10 line.

@Shanus Although I am not the OP here, I would love to hear your recommendations for good skincare products. I am also looking for a good vitamin c serum. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I'm using The Ordinary and Tatcha products. Skin has never looked or felt better.

@sophiesofers I use 1. Bobbi Brown Soothing Cleansing Oil at night. Sunscreen is difficult to remove from pores and I've found oily cleansers do the best job. There are many on the market at different price points. 2. At night, I use Retin A (.1%). I've used it for decades and alternate it in winter when my skin gets more dry with 3.Skinceuticals Renew Moisturizer 4. Skinceuticals Eye Balm (AM and PM). My morning routine is a 5. Gentle cleanser like Cerave or Cetaphil 6. Vit.C serum (I use Obagi Professional 15%) and 7. Moisturize with Skinceuticals Emolliance moisturizer and then 8. Drugstore spf over 40-50. This is usually Neutrogena or in the summer I change to a waterproof spf. When I feel my skin needs extra exfoliation, I use acid pads or an acid toner by Skinceuticals....no physical exfoliant with grains that could scratch skin. Retin A is an exfoliant, so I don't use that often.
Let me know if you have further questions or need any other explanations.

@Britbrit13 You can check on YouTube. Just search for "anti-aging makeup" and a lot of videos are listed that include products, demonstrations, and tips/suggestions. HTH

Retin-A is not an exfoliant. Dry skin and flaking are side-effects from using it and it is a misconception that by using RA it can exfoliate the skin. The antiaging benefits of using RA happen deep inside the skin and not on the surface. If you see flaking from using RA then you are either using too strong of a dose or you are applying it too often. You still need to use a product specifically designed to exfoliate the skin. @Shanus

@SilleeMee In winter or now especially with wearing masks, I've had to cut back on exfoliating my skin and using Retin A. I find using a washcloth w/ my cleansers is about all my skin can handle. Of course, if you or others like or prefer to add exfoliation and can tolerate it, that's great. I'll have to wait to see how my skin's doing come warm weather.
