Re: Looking for round brush dryer under $50

@LTT1
Yes, a round barrel brush for drying.
@Winkk
My current style is similar but shorter. I'm quite good at achieving any look I want. My equipment is old and needs replacing.

@Midmod  If you want a beachy wavy/curly short bob blow out, I recommend the Revlon One Step 1-1/2"  round ceramic hair dryer and volumizer hot air brush.  I own the larger Revlon volumizing hot air brush and I own this 1 1/2 inch Revlon hot air brush.  This 1 1/2 inch one suits your hair cut and hair type.  I have a long layered haircut with a wavy hair type, and I'm able to create beachy waves and curls with this hair dryer. It's the best price on Amazon for $33.89 today so it's well below a $50 pricepoint goal. I hope this helps! Smiley Happy

Do you have any issues with the brush barrel disconnecting from the handle during use?

It may not be exactly what you are looking for, but there is a hugely popular and very well rated, and affordable dryer brush, by Revlon but it is the oval type of style. I own it the only complaint I have is it is Very loud.

@Midmod I have this dryer and I like it very much.  It is not very expensive and I have had it for at least 5 years or more.  I don't know if you would be able to achieve the look you want with just the dryer though.  I don't see it making large loose curls.  I use mine to get a smooth straight look.

I also have this dryer as well.  Love it and have been using it for a few years.

@Midmod A round dryer brush will not give you this style (It's really cute &  love it!).  It will make your hair curve under like a basic smooth bob which is how I wear my hair most of the time.  I have the Revlon oval dryer brush and it's well under $50.00.

I also have the Shark Flex style drying system that has multiple heads for syling while drying which would give you this look.  However it's around $300.00.

@justashopper   I love Revlon hot air brushes! Are you referring to the Revlon Ionic Technology Perfect Heat and Style Hair Dryer with the 1" and 1 1/2" barrels? It looks great! I might have to buy it and give my 2 Revlon hot air brushes a new friend Smiley Very Happy.

Hi @SportyShorty07

YES!!  thanks for finding that.  Exactly.  It's great as a travel hair system.  Look for a fabric hair diffuser to put over the dryer attachment and dry your hair more naturally to scrunch it.  I never put the fabric over the dryer part directly.  So be smart and don't start a fire. ok?  LOL.

@justashopper   Wow- I knew it! I guessed correctly for your blowdryer Smiley Very HappyHeart!  I'll definitely get it and excellent tip about the fabric hair dryer diffuser pouch to put on top of the blow dry nozzel- I definitely hope I don't start a fire Smiley Wink!  I can just imagine the horror of the mousse and product in my long layered Farrah Fawcett haircut catching on fire! Smiley Very Happy
