Re: Looking for round brush dryer under $50

@haddon9
I'll look at that shark flex. What do you think of the Wen hair system Chaz was offering this weekend? It was $209 and I have been wondering who makes it. I figure he's a house brand now so if that's the case then the markup would be a lot on it.

@Midmod I am not familiar with the Wen  hair system.  Have you read any of the reviews?  I find that to be helpful.

@Midmod  If you want a beachy wavy/curly short bob blow out, I recommend the Revlon One Step 1-1/2"  round ceramic hair dryer and volumizer hot air brush.  I own the larger Revlon volumizing hot air brush and I own this 1 1/2 inch Revlon hot air brush.  This 1 1/2 inch one suits your hair cut and hair type.  I have a long layered haircut with a wavy hair type, and I'm able to create beachy waves and curls with this hair dryer. It's the best price on Amazon for $33.89 today so it's well below a $50 pricepoint goal. I hope this helps! Smiley Happy

I bought this a few months ago at Walgreens and used my points which made it about $30.  Do you use it on damp hair?  Sometimes I feel like I need a video tutorial because I don't think I've got the hang of it.

@1tuffcookie  It took me a while to figure out when/how to use my revlon round brush air dryer too- here's what I do: I wait until my hair is about 80 percent dry by putting my hair in a towel for about an hour and then once my hair is lightly damp, I section my hair into sections by clipping it up, then I take a section and pull the revlon brush through it, creating light tension and twisting it towards the bottom until my hair feels warm and dry but not too hot. I repeat this until all of my sections are done and then I turn my head upside down and blow dry my hair blasting air upwards into my hair to create volume.

     There's a great youtuber/hairstylist called The Blow Dry Professor- there's a tutorial he made for the Revlon Round Brush blow dryer: I don't know how to link youtube videos on here, but the title of the Blow Dry Professor's Youtube video is "salon owner's blow dry brush routine".  That video really gave me the tips and tricks on how to perfect my Revlon round brush blow out. Smiley Happy

@justashopper   I'm loving my Revlon double barrel blow dryer that you recommended- it is the little sister to my two other Revlon blow dryers Smiley Very Happy! I think what's fun about the double barrel function is that I can create tight beachy waves and big beachy wave style blow outs and the soft bristles preserve some of my natural wavy texture so its not too sleek of a blow out, but still smooth.  The goldlicks "just right" of round brush blow dryers! Thank you Smiley Very Happy
