Looking for liquid eyeliner for cat eye effect

Hi there! I'm dying to try the cat eye look, but I'm a novice when it comes to liquid eyeliner. I do ok with an angled brush and gel liner types, although, I don't use any at the moment. Does anyone have any recs for an eyeliner or any other type of liner to give me a nice, neat winged look. Also, if you know of a dark brown color for daytime, feel free to chime in here. pencils just are not giving me the crisp line I want....Oh, and if you can keep it budget friendly, thats all the better...Thanks all!
