Freesia fragrance.

My beloved Crabtree and Evelyn Freesia is long discontinued.

I do not care for Jo Malone's version with pear.

I do not want freesia mixed with another scent.

My internet search did not prove useful.

Do you ladies have any suggestions?

Re: Looking for a single note

I don’t know if they have a freesia but my local target recently started carrying a line called “solinotes” seemed to be single note fragrances. I didn’t have time to sample and play with them though.

Amazon has Yardly Freesia, and one reviewer said it was a good substitute for Crabtree and Evelyn.

Re: Looking for a single note

Hi there. According to what I have found, even though it sounds like a single-note, it really is a composition, which will make matching it hard. If you go to Basenotes you can get the info., and they also list places to find some. Won't be cheap as you've probably discovered. http://www.basenotes.net/ID10210898.html

Bourbon French Perfumes. New Orleans

They have a web page.

Been doing business with them a long time.

THEY have been doing business since they blended cologne for Napoleon.

If you are on a mission, you might want to go to Fragrantica and type in Freesia in the search bar.  Dozens of fragrances will appear that you can review.

@Chicagosuburbangirl  Check with fresh.com.  They list the notes of their fragrances.  I can tell you they do not offer a one note fragrance but they do offer MANY beautiful scents.

Re: Looking for a single note

@Desi  very good suggestion.

I frequent the Basenotes website and find it a wonderful read.

I worry about the chemical changes that occur in older fragrances over time, but may consider this option.
