Looking for Powder for Coverage

Since Maybelline discontinued their matte finish powder compact, I can't find a powder that takes care of the shine and has good coverage. I've never had to wear foundation--just the powder. Now, I can only find powder that doesn't cover. I've very sensitive skin. Anyone have any suggestions?

Mineral makeup powder foundations. You can control the coverage, a little or a lot. I like Physicians Formula.

I just bought Physicians Formula Super BB Powder. I'm am liking it and previously couldn't wear powder because it accentuated my pours and fine lines. It's spf 30 too.

Rimmel makes a matte powder. PF is good too! Both are very affordable.

Re: Looking for Powder for Coverage

I'm sorry that I can't make a drugstore recommendation, but I am really liking Tarte's Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Powder Foundation. Please don' let the name fool you into believing that this powder is like a pancake powder foundation. You can brush it on so lightly that it will look and feel like a very sheer finishing powder (which is how I most often use it). The price is $40, but if you order from QVC you get a wonderful great quality powder brush included.

Maybelline has come out with a new powder called Dream Matte Powder. That may be worth checking out before you switch brands. I have not tried it yet which is why I did not lead my post with the suggestion, but in the drugstore brand category Maybelline is the one I most trust.

Lancome's Dual Finish in the square compact. (I think that's the name) Apply with a wedge sponge or beauty blender DRY. Any powder will cover better using a sponge vs. a brush.. so think about the tools you use for true full coverage. Hope you find something you love.

I agree with Trix. The Tarte Amazonian Clay powder is very good and comes in a wide color range. IT's a bit pricey, but sign up on the Tarte website and they'll send you discount offers. If you need a brush, the QVC combo is a good deal.
