Re: Living Proof hair products

Several years ago I purchased the conditioner and shampoo and a leave in in this line.   I still have some  left as it was so so strong scented I could not get past the smell.  I normally have no problem with scents and like them, but, their was something about THIS SCENT that was just overbearing.   I quit using it.

I should dispose of the leftovers I guess.... will have to reach into the back of my bathroom cabinet!

All the Living proof products I've tried have a strong chemical smell which I am not fond of and most I didn't like how it made my hair feel. The only product I do really like and have repurchased is the Perfect Hair Day 5 in 1 styling treatment. It helps protect it from heat damage from blow drying but also claims to help you wash your hair less often. It still has a pretty strong chemical smell but it works really well and I don't find the scent lingers in my hair so I am ok with it.

I use the Living Proof AMP to add texture/volume to hair. I have fine hair, chin length, layered. After styling with the blow drying and my regular volumizer (not LP), I often use the AMP. I love how it adds some texture and volume.

Re: Living Proof hair products

I truly have tried to love this line as it has no silicones or sulfates.  I think it dries my hair out.  I do like one of their heat protectant sprays and one of the leave ins that is fairly new.  The shampoo and conditioner are just "ok".

Re: Living Proof hair products

I tried the shampoo/conditioner a few years ago and found the scent to be way too strong for me. And, I did not find it to be moisturizing enough.

I have tried several of their products shampoo, conditioner, styling aids and they're really nothing special. I think you could find something better.

Re: Living Proof hair products

It is an awful product line.  Very drying and if your skin is sensitve it feels like your scalp is burning.  It damaged my hair and I never offered it to anyone just threw it away.

Re: Living Proof hair products

I have thinning hair on my crown and the back of my head.  I use the mousse to plump up the hair when I really need it to look good.  It is pricey, so I don't use it everyday. I have never noticed the odor...must have a stuffy nose Smiley Happy
