Re: Little did I realize

@Bellini13   She used to and was the BB stick foundation that's still in her line today, but now with her newer Jones Road, she only uses that pan of "grease", sorry Bobbi. Her skin is s quite dry. She's also done peels and lasers so as not to have any blemished or discolored areas to cover.

Her original Bobbi Brown Essentials line promoted the less is a more and a natural look.

I have that pan of grease. I liked it for a minute. Until I saw how little it covers and how badly it transfers.

I always say different lighting in different rooms makes a world of difference.  I always wonder about it in hotel rooms.

the only time hotel room lighting doesn't matter for me is when my chorus goes to regional or international competition. We wear the chorus stage makeup and look like harlots on the way through the hotel to our final makeup and costume check. 😬😛

@Shanus my complexion is super dry. I didn't even have oil as a teen. I kept trying the products my zit prone friends were using- Noxema cream, that amber soap, Bonnie Bell Ten o Six lotion- wondering why they made my skin flaky. I had perfectly normal skin. You mentioned stick foundation- I love the idea as long as it is hydrating. Big fan of Lancôme.

@smoochy   Most stick foundations are cream based so they can have the ease of application and the popular "slip". Great for our dry skins.

Try to do light chemical peels. It helps with the overall appearance of your skin.
