Lisa's Photo on the Homepage

She looks beautiful...clear, bright, unlined face. With the recent thread on photo retouching, do you think that her photo was touched up or natural?

OMG- Can we give this a rest!!! You seriously need to give some thought as to why you even care! Read your own post ...It is ridiculously silly! I'm sorry, but it just crazy how so many of you are so incredibly caught up & concerned about the lives of people (and in this case a single photograph!!!) who you don't know! WHO CARES {#emotions_dlg.scared}-

Lisa looks great but she is not flawless. Of course that pic is photoshopped just like every professional photo is. Very obvious.

Re: Lisa's Photo on the Homepage

I learned when I got my senior pictures done in high school that they retouch some of those if you need it...so yeah, I'm betting they've done some retouching on a professional photo that is to be viewed on a commercial website.

Of course, if they'd chosen not to retouch it, she'd still look beautiful...wrinkles or not. I'm sure they don't want her to look like she has any wrinkles or fine lines though, since she sells skincare that promises an end to that sort of thing.

My stylist takes photos of me with her I Phone when I say I really like what she just did to my hair. Since she experiments a lot, she can't remember from time to time. Yes, the hair loked great, the face, not so much. Too bad I Phone doesn't have an ironing app.

It probably is a bit, but so are all the host page pictures....She is not very lined on my HDTV. In fact there are other hosts with more obvious lines, etc...

HSN is notorious for retouching photos...you should see some of the Diane Gilman photos posted every now and then on their website..They make her look several size smaller, imo..

Don't kid yourself; those lines are filled with Botox, that's why you don't see any on HDTV.

LUVMYCATS I so agree with your post. Wouldn't it be nice if we could keep the Beauty Forum just that "BEAUTY!" Here's my thought: Statement on NEGATIVITY.......... Negativity of any kind is never productive, it drags a person, a community down. Its easy to be negative and its human nature to be negative. But, it does no good to be that way! It only brings hurt, anger, frustration, nasty comments etc. and fosters the worst of human nature and in the end, tears down rather than builds up! Positivity is never mindless!! It is a difficult thing to attain and takes focus, determination and hard work but the payoff is big when we are hit with disaster. Positivity will determine whether we will go down with the ship or rise above circumstances and be happy in anything. Not for nothing is the advice to think on the positive in any situation given by all great thinkers. It leads to peace and tranquility in lives.
